The Post Graduate Diploma in Management (Biotechnology) is a unique industry and has its own individual demands, causing exceptional needs for the industry. With a growth rate of almost 37%, there is a dearth of managers who understand the specialty and novelty of this field, people trained to tackle issues related to IPR, finance, marketing, personnel in this sector. There arises, thus, a new need for specialized Biotech Business Managers.

The Post Graduate Diploma in Biotechnology Management was started by SIESCOMS in association with SIES Indian Institute of Environmental Management (SIES IIEM). This is a 2-year full time AICTE approved program. This program is a unique offering as it combines core competencies of the both management and biotechnology disciplines.

Foundation module at the beginning of the program to help orient students to working in a B-School (convergence module)
Contemporary syllabus with a 60:40 break up of components consisting of Management subjects and Biotech subjects throughout the program like Intellectual Property Rights, Biotech Business Environment, Clinical Research, FDA, International Business and Strategic Marketing , etc.
Corporate integration in terms of teaching and concurrent projects, guest lectures by industry stalwarts and industrial visits.
Leadership Development Program (soft skill oriented inputs)
Foreign language (Business German) as the optional subject
Students to constantly undertake research activity to sharpen analytical skills.
